Canon PG-243 CL-244 Ink Cartridges 1287C006

The Canon PG-243 CL-244 Ink Cartridges 1287C006 value pack delivers two genuine cartridges tailored for select Canon PIXMA inkjet printers, including models like the MG2420, MX492, and TS3120. This combo includes one PG-243 black and one CL-244 color cartridge, each rated for up to 100 pages of output. Home offices handling occasional printing find this pack practical for maintaining steady supplies without excess inventory.

Canon’s FINE technology powers these cartridges with thousands of nozzles for precise ink deployment, resulting in sharp black text and vibrant colors on plain paper. Users printing school reports or family photos notice the difference in clarity compared to generics, especially at resolutions up to 4800 x 1200 dpi. The pack suits light-duty needs, like 100 pages per color monthly, but heavier users might cycle through it faster than expected.

Installation proves straightforward on compatible printers such as the TS302 or TR4520, snapping in securely without mess or alignment hassles. Black ink handles everyday documents with crisp edges, while color reproduction stays true for casual graphics or images. Those replacing faded prints from third-party inks appreciate the reliable performance here.

Real-world testing reveals consistent yields around 100 pages for mixed text and light images, aligning with Canon’s claims under standard conditions. The cartridges resist common issues like streaking during initial use, though color vibrancy dips slightly on budget photo paper. Budget-conscious households printing sporadically benefit most from this genuine option over bulk alternatives.

Packaging emphasizes authenticity with the Canon logo, helping users avoid counterfeits that often underperform or clog printheads. For small workgroups sharing a PIXMA MG2520, the duo pack covers weekly memos and charts without frequent swaps. It falls short for high-volume photo enthusiasts needing more capacity per cartridge.

Printers like the iP2820 or TS3320 pair seamlessly with these inks, unlocking full functionality including copy modes. Maintenance remains minimal, as the pigment-based black formula dries quickly to prevent smudges on output. Families juggling homework and recipes discover even coverage across 100-page runs, making it a dependable choice for everyday reliability.

While yields stay modest at 100 pages per cartridge, quality edges out many aftermarket options in longevity and output sharpness. Users with infrequent printing—say, monthly statements or kids' art projects—get solid value without overcommitting to larger multipacks. Power users printing 200+ pages monthly may prefer higher-capacity alternatives to minimize interruptions.

The 1287C006 model integrates Canon's engineering for efficient nozzle use, reducing waste during short jobs. Color accuracy impresses for web printouts or flyers, though deep blacks shine brightest in text-heavy tasks. This pack fits neatly into routines where quality trumps quantity, helping readers gauge if steady, genuine performance matches their printing rhythm.
