Brondell BL97 Elongated Electronic Bidet Toilet Seat

The Brondell BL97 Elongated Electronic Bidet Toilet Seat (model BL97-EW) installs over existing elongated toilets, delivering a hygienic water-based cleaning option that many users adopt for daily comfort. Measuring approximately 19.5 x 16 x 5.7 inches, it fits most standard elongated bowls without requiring plumbing modifications or professional help. Those transitioning from traditional toilet paper often appreciate the reduced waste and cleaner feel it provides in busy households.

Advanced hybrid heating ensures a consistent supply of warm water, avoiding the chills of cold rinses during morning routines. The stainless-steel nozzle, which self-cleans after each use, offers 5 nozzle positions, 5 water temperature settings, and 5 pressure levels for customized washes. Front and rear modes include aerated sprays with pulsing or oscillating options, making it versatile for different cleaning needs.

A standout feature remains the ergonomic heated seat, which warms up quickly to a comfortable temperature, ideal for colder climates or nighttime visits. Strong wash mode delivers powerful cleaning for thorough results, while soft mode suits sensitive skin without irritation. Practical for families, the wireless lite-touch remote allows easy adjustments from a seated position, minimizing hassle.

Installation proves straightforward, typically completed in under 30 minutes with basic tools, connecting directly to the toilet's water supply. Users in compact bathrooms value its sleek modern design that blends with white fixtures, though the remote requires a nearby battery replacement spot. Everyday scenarios like post-workout refreshes or elderly care highlight its gentle yet effective performance.

Water efficiency stands out, as the aerated streams use less volume than excessive paper wiping, appealing to eco-conscious homes. Durability from the fully encased stainless-steel nozzle resists buildup over time, though periodic manual wiping prevents any residue in hard-water areas. It excels for those seeking bidet convenience without complex setups, but may feel bulky on very small toilets.

The Brondell BL97 handles varied user needs well, from gentle feminine washes to robust masculine cleaning, with modes that adapt to preferences. Heated elements perform reliably in extended use, maintaining comfort through multiple daily cycles. Households prioritizing hygiene and ease will find it a solid upgrade, particularly where traditional methods fall short on thoroughness.

For apartments or homes with elongated toilets, this bidet seat offers reliable operation without electrical outlets nearby, relying on simple water line integration. Minor drawbacks include the lack of night-lighting, which could aid low-visibility navigation, and remote battery life that demands occasional checks. Overall, it suits proactive users upgrading bathroom routines thoughtfully.
